Once you have your core requirements for a solution, it is time to figure out the initial design of the experience. Solutions with user interfaces make design work so much easier because we are all, generally, visual people. Good design is tricky for a few reasons:
Good design is obvious. It says to you “there was no other way to do this that would be as good as this, you’re welcome.”
Good design is simple. The solution should not be cluttered or distracting. It should solve the problem and nothing more.
